Baruch Haba! Welcome!
I'm Cantor Adam, a seasoned Jewish communal professional dedicated to connecting people to our heritage through music, arts and culture. I have served in Cantorial roles for congregations and communities in New York, Illinois, D.C., Maryland and Virginia. In addition to musical leadership on the bima, I enjoy working with students rising to adulthood in preparation for Bnai Mitzvah and beyond. I also like to accompany matured adults and help them take the next steps on their Jewish journey, whatever that may be. I enjoy performing in and presenting concerts, which I did for a decade as the founder of KFAR Jewish Arts Center, a leading voice for new Jewish culture in Chicago. I was named a “Trailblazer”by B'nai Brith Magazine in 200, and have been featured in articles in The Forward, Chicago Reader, Chicago Tribune, Na’amat Magazine, Chicago Jewish News and Washington Jewish Week. I graduated from University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music with a BFA in Musical Theatre and from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion's Debbie Friedman School of Sacred Music. I am a member of the American Conference of Cantors (ACC). I look forward to connecting with you! Cantor Adam |
